African countries play an important role in the United Nations. They have played a major role and weighed in on the central conflicts of our time. Recent discussions in the United Nations on sustainable development provided a platform for discussion. Some of the Sustainable Development Goals include No Poverty; Zero Hunger; Good Health and Well-Being, Quality Education; Clean Water and Santation; and Affordable and Clean Energy, highlight the central role these nations play in human affairs.
