OTD Marie Van Brittan Brown joined the ancestors (Oct 30, 1922 - Feb 2, 1999). A nurse, who, along with her husband Albert L. Brown, an electronics technician, invented an audio-visual home security system (1966). That same year they applied for a patent for their security system. It was granted 3 years later in 1969.
