#OTD Fredrick McGhee (Oct 28, 1861 - Sept 9, 1912). Criminal defense lawyer, civil rights activist. Born enslaved in Mississippi, McGhee would become the 1st Black attorney in Minnesota. Alongside close friend and collaborator W. E. B.
