Z. Alexander Looby (Apr 8, 1899 - Mar 24, 1972). Lawyer, civil rights activist, 1st African American to serve on the Nashville, TN, City Council. Mr Looby’s home was bombed by white domestic terrorists because of his civil rights activism.
