The Pan African Congresses represented significant moments in the history of the African Diaspora. Originating in the early 20th century, these congresses represented concerted action by Black populations in the African Diaspora to address colonialism. Pan African Congresses provided an important forum for anticolonial leaders to challenge colonialist and imperialist behavior around the world. The blog provides information about these conferences from 1900 to 2014.
