Naomi Sims joined the ancestors (Mar 30, 1948 – Aug 1, 2009). Model, businesswoman, author. She is widely credited as being one of the 1st Black supermodels. She was the 1st Black model to appear on the covers of Ladies' Home Journal and Life.
