On December 15th 1965, Eslanda Cardozo Goode Robeson joined the ancestors (Dec 15, 1896 - Dec 13, 1965). Anthropologist, author, actress, civil rights activist, wife and business manager of performer/activist Paul Robeson. She was the 1st African American hired at NYC’s Presbyterian Hospital in the surgical pathology department.
