Mississippi
In April 2025, Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, signed into law a bill that bans DEI programs, diversity training, and the use of diversity statements in hiring. It also prohibits the teaching of so-called divisive concepts including “transgender ideology, gender-neutral pronouns, heteronormativity, gender theory, sexual privilege, or any related formulation of these concepts.”
