Dr. Mustafa Santiago Ali is the Executive Vice President of Conservation & Justice for the National Wildlife Federation (NWF), former Interim Chief of Programs at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), and Instructor at American University. He is the Founder and CEO of Revitalization Strategies. He also serves as a commissioner for The American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS). He is an award-winning writer and poet focused on social justice. Dr. Ali is frequently seen on television, including appearances on MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, VICE, FUSE, BET, National Geographic, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and Democracy NOW! They gather, a constellation of power, sisters in solidarity, defiant in this hour, Kamala's name is their mantra, their hymn, a promise of a new dawn where we all begin.
Black women first, the rhythm, the beat, a cadence of history, their march in the street, fundraisers ignited, dollars like rain, their strength undeniable, breaking every chain.
White women awaken, to the call that’s been sung, by voices long muted, now vibrantly sprung, go talk to your sisters, your neighbors, your kin, vote with your conscience, let justice begin.
Years of whispers now roars in the hall, using privilege as leverage, they answer the call, building bridges of words, networks of trust, in unity they gather, for equity is just.
From the corners of cities to the edges of towns, women of all races, shedding their frowns, lifting Kamala high, to shatter the sky, a ceiling so fragile, a barrier to defy.
Economic strata dissolve in this fight, for a future where all stand equal in light, they weave their stories, their hopes, their dreams, in the tapestry of freedom, in the president they deem.
A sisterhood, unbreakable, fierce, and grand, together they rise, hand in hand, Kamala as beacon, as leader, as flame, in their unity, the world will never be the same.
This is the moment, transformational, bright, they’re painting the future, with colors of might, shattering ceilings, rewriting the laws, for Kamala Harris, they roar with applause.
In the echoes of history, their voices resound, in this sisterhood of solidarity, strength is found, they are the answer, the call, the refrain, lifting Kamala Harris, they dismantle the pain.
